HOLLY

One of the most traumatic moments in our lives with the dogs.

Holly & her brother Perry were a very important part of where I wanted to take our breeding program.

Their sire is a famous stud dog in the USA ~ MBIS MBISS AM GCH & CAN CH Innisfree Chuck a Luck. We were very grateful when Anita Riley (USA) agreed to send us frozen semen from Chuck which we used on Charm and were blessed with 3 beautiful pups.

Holly was always the clear favourite and had everything we wanted in that breeding. Roll on to 11 months old - her brother Perry suddenly became ill and we rushed him to the vet - when a parvo test came back positive I was absolutely shocked. Parvo is something you worry about in younger puppies - not ones that are 11 months old. Perry was admitted and passed away 3 days later... a week later our worst fear came true when Holly started showing the same symptoms and passed away 5 days later.

Gone far too young and all of our plans for you were destroyed. A tragic period in our lives but today I am able to look back and remember all of our good times, all the times she managed to escape the property either through a steep incline or climbing into a tree like a leopard and whoops over the neighbors wall. She definitely kept us on our toes.

In the show ring, she was a rising star, she won BOB from the puppy class over 28 dogs at a specialty show over champions including her dam Charm and grand dam Fergie (who was reserve to her).

She won Best Puppy in show at the same show and followed it up with a Best Puppy in Show (all breeds).
